About Us
MAKERshop exists to provide a local source for parts, materials and consumables for 3D printers and other Digital home fabrication technologies.
In particular we are starting with a focus on parts for Prusa-Mendel and Rostock 3D Printers and other open source RepRap designs.
We have sourced our products through our network of local and international suppliers so that our kiwi makers don't have to endure expensive international freight, long shipping delays, minimum order quantities and risky overseas credit card transactions.
Some of our products are specially manufactured for us to our own designs. We try to use and test all of the components we bring in and won't sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves.
In time we hope to offer some new and innovative designs and help to advance the technology available for the RepRap community and the wider maker community.
